Electronic Circuits and PCB
Design

Electronic circuit and PCB design including A/D, D/A, embedded controllers, diode laser drivers, & temperature controllers, etc. are designed and simulated in house using MultiSim and Ultiboard software.
Manufacturing

PCB boards are fabricated by our well-known-in-industry business vendors: PCBExpress and Advance Circuits board houses that provide DFM and PCB board testing.
Optical Fixtures and Aluminum Enclosures

Design
Mechanical designs, 3D modeling, fixture/assembly drawing designs, & product documentations are done in house using ProEngineer Wildfire software.
Manufacturing
Mechanical parts are manufactured by our local precision CNC machining and sheet-metal vendors.
Programming
Firmware and software are developed in-house using PicBasic Pro, Visual Basic, and Visual C++ programming platform. Our firmware and software versions are developed and tested thoroughly before any release.
Integration, Testing, and Quality Inspection
We do the final electro-optical integration, system integration, final testing and final quality inspection before shipping at the Irvine facility.
QC prior to delivery and shipment of all systems:
- Electro-optical integration
- Final system integration and assembly
- Finished product testing and inspection
Material and Lead Time
All components and parts are standard and off-the-shelf items which are easily available through distributors and vendors. Our average component lead time is 3-4 weeks. In the event of any components that are hard-to-get or long lead time, we usually have a large inventory of that particular component.
- All materials and components are from established and reputable vendors.
- All materials and components are of high quality standards.
- All materials and components are standard, off the self, and readily available.
- Typical component and parts lead time is 3-4 weeks.
- Enwave Optronics, Inc. maintains an excess inventory to ensure against material and component shortages, delays, and sudden demand fluctuations.
Manufacturing Vendors
- Locally contracted CNC machining and sheet-metal shops for prototyping and low volume production.
- A Local Portable Instrumentation Manufacture for Potential OEM Manufacturing
- A Electro-Optical Service Based Company Overseas for Future High Volume OEM Manufacturing
- Machining Shops Overseas for High Volume & Low Cost Production
